Family is important to us at Donatello and so we have collaborated with some of our favourite little ones to create a menu that all kids love!
We have an extensive wine cellar supplied by an award winning Sommelier and wine merchant plus a stunning selection of delicious cocktails and beers for every occasion.
We had dinner for our family of four and it was really delightful. The menu was full of choice, the decor screamed genuine Italian-not generic or manufactured- and the gentleman at the door was delightful as was our waitress. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant and will definitely return myself.
We visited on Monday 3rd August and had booked online before our holiday to Brighton. We sat outside with our two small dogs in the lovely square. The staff were so accommodating and even provided water, without asking, for our two pups. Food was amazing, it was just like being in Italy! We had starters and we both had pizzas for our main and so glad we did! Staff were very friendly and we felt very safe with all the COVID regulations. Although we sat outside, I did visit the toilet which was very clean and inside restaurant looked lovely too. We are leaving Brighton tomorrow and have actually booked to go back as we enjoyed it so much.
Absolutely amazing food and service tonight. Was served by two lovely members of staff Alfonzo and Megan. So friendly and good was gorgeous – would highly recommend and would 100% be going back again xxx
The thing about this place, is that everyone who visits loves it. It’s hard not to. Amazing Italian food, managed with a family tradition. The venue itself has grown over the years, but lost none of its authenticity. You just have to look at the photo wall on entry, to gain a feel of the popularity of this restaurant. Spent NYE here with my girlfriend for my birthday, the occasion was perfect. Will always return, as the lure when in Brighton, is just too tempting, especially the Donatello’s spaghetti.
We booked a table in advance and when we arrived and were seated we were amazed at how busy it was but all safely socially distanced. Friendly staff, buzzing atmosphere and we were really impressed with the menu which was 2 courses for £12! We had different starters and shared and we both had a flavour sensation after as it was just so tasty. Hubbie had pizza which he said was amazing and I had polo Milanese which I’d never had before, it was amazing too. Great little find, lovely wine and friendly staff, we had a great night and it was reasonably priced too. Thank you and we’d definitely recommend and return.
